Language Bank offers a Medical Interpretation training course that prepares participants to enter an exciting career in a growing field.
This is a 60+ hour, in-person program, and attendance to all classes is mandatory. Use this form to select the advising session you plan to attend -- attendance at the advising session is mandatory in order to enroll in the full training course.

All Training Sessions are now ONLINE!

Language Bank's 100% online training course starts Monday, August 17. If you're interested in enrolling, you must attend one of our information sessions on either Tuesday, August 11 or Wednesday, August 12. If neither date works for you, please indicate this on the registration form. Class spaces will be limited to maintain a productive student-to-teacher ratio and priority will be given to speakers of high-demand languages.

Our training course provides students with a certificate of proficiency and all the tools they need to begin a successful career with us as a professional medical interpreter.

Language Bank is working in partnership with the Massachusetts Office for Refugees and Immigrants to increase the availability of language-access services for specific high-demand languages. Refugees and immigrants who are fluent in any of these languages (see list below) and English may qualify for free medical interpreter training offered by Language Bank!

This is a great opportunity to join the exciting and growing interpretation field at no cost. See the list below for languages that qualify for free training; other countries/languages may qualify as well!

Class fees waived for refugees and immigrants who meet all criteria from:
Afghanistan
Burma
The Democratic Republic of Congo
El Salvador
Eritrea
Haiti
Sudan
Ukraine
