Class Overview

Language Bank offers a 60-hour medical interpretation training program for bilingual individuals interested in a career as a Medical Interpreter. Training is taught by our own licensed trainers who take pride in delivering a quality educational program. Language Bank trainers have more than 25 years of experience and bring a high level of instruction to prepare students for the real challenges interpreters face.  

The curriculum includes communication, standards of practice, interpreting logistics, medical terminology, and role-play interpreting techniques. A unique component included in our training is a 15-hour language specific practice session where language coaches work with students in person, mastering medical terminology, correcting homework, providing expertise and conducting realistic role-plays that prepare students for the real world of interpreting.
